Jobenomics Frederick is a community grassroots movement focused on mass-producing, highly-scalable startup businesses in underserved communities in Frederick County Maryland and Frederick City.  Jobenomics Frederick’s initial goal is to produce new jobs within Frederick’s Opportunity Zones by creating startup micro and nonemployer (a single-person firm with no paid employees) businesses.  Jobenomics Frederick is co-led by Kathie Callahan Brady, CEO Frederick Innovation Technology Center Inc. (FITCI), and Rick Weldon, President & CEO Frederick Chamber.  The first Jobenomics Frederick pilot projects will focus on the Jobenomics Controlled Environment Agriculture Program that involves indoor growing businesses and agrarian-related careers.
